Baseball Recap: Gentry Takes a Loss

Gentry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Canton Tigers, falling 22-10. Even if the Rams couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Gentry's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Canton, their record is now 8-4.

Coming up, Gentry will square off against Cleveland Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canton, they will face off against Yazoo City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
