Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emma Keeton and Ashlyn Richardson Lead Brooks to Victory

After losing to Cherokee County the last time they met, Brooks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lions came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Brooks took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13.

Brooks was led to victory by Ashlyn Richardson and Emma Keeton. Richardson had four digs and four aces, while Keeton had nine assists and three aces. What's more, Richardson racked up nine assists, the most she's had over her last two matchups.

Brooks' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Cherokee County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.
