Basketball Recap: Ely Comes Up Short

Ely was the 61-24 winner over Bigfork when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ely Timberwolves fell just short of the Bigfork Huskies by a score of 41-39 on Thursday.

Ely's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Bigfork, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 10-5.

Ely wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-46 loss against Moose Lake/Willow River on the 25th. Bigfork has also already played their next game (against Littlefork-Big Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
