Recap: West Florence Knights vs. Keenan Raiders
The West Florence Knights struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Thursday (the Keenan Raiders were 27% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. West Florence was beaten by Keenan 62-21.
West Florence got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Destiny Mitchell and
Gabrielle Gunter, who each put up six points.
Keenan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aareonna Cuaghman out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Samiyah Hicks, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five steals.
West Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Keenan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
