Howland entered their tilt with Ursuline on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Fighting Irish an 8-0 shutout. Fans of Howland have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Their offense was hitting Ursuline from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Dimitri ( Mitch) Gentis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Howland's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ursuline, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Howland will welcome Louisville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ursuline, they will venture away from home to challenge Austintown-Fitch at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
