Soccer Recap: Southeast Raleigh Comes Up Short

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Smithfield-Selma Spartans. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Southeast Raleigh were already down 3-0.

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Smithfield-Selma, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-6-1.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh will face off against Cleveland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Smithfield-Selma, they will square off against Triton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
