Basketball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster played a tough matchup on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the St. Francis Red Raiders, falling 66-42. The Legends were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

St. Francis' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sal Giardina, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points. The dominant performance gave Giardina a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Donte Parker Jr, who posted nine points.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Francis, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lancaster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-38 defeat against Pioneer on the 20th. As for St. Francis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-56 win against The Park School of Buffalo on the 20th.
