Football Recap: Morrison Wildcats vs. Pawhuska Huskies
After flying high against Quapaw last Friday, Morrison came back down to earth. The Morrison Wildcats were outmatched by the Pawhuska Huskies on the road and fell 42-12. The Wildcats lost against the Huskies in their previous head to head back in September of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 20-12 score last time.
Pawhuska had a senior duo take command as Chase Eaves rushed for 36 yards and three touchdowns and Canyon Hindman rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Eaves a new career-high in rushing yards.
Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pawhuska, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Morrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pawhuska, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Hartshorne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pawhuska is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 49.4 points per game this season.
