Basketball Recap: Eagle River Comes Up Short

Eagle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 72-49 to the Chugiak Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-45 last Tuesday.

Eagle River's record now sits at 1-20. As for Chugiak, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Eagle River nor Chugiak have any future games scheduled.
