Basketball Game Preview: Louisburg Wildcats vs. Baldwin Bulldogs

Louisburg and Baldwin are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Louisburg Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Baldwin Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisburg is looking for their season's first victory.

Last Monday, Louisburg was beaten by Spring Hill 64-33. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Broncos are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Baldwin came up short against Ottawa on Tuesday and fell 53-45. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Baldwin suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Louisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Louisburg came up short against Baldwin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 52-41. Can Louisburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
