Baseball Recap: Gloversville Takes a Loss

Gloversville lost against Scotia-Glenville on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies/Dragons fell just short of the Tartans by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies/Dragons have lost by just one run.

Gloversville dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Scotia-Glenville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Gloversville will welcome South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Huskies/Dragons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Scotia-Glenville, they will venture away from home to square off against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tartans are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
