Carell Phillips put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he rushed for 237 yards and one touchdown. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 113 rushing yards in the fourth games prior.

Phillips and North Duplin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Bladen at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Rebels got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles thanks in part to Phillips: he rushed for 234 yards and three scores on only 15 carries.
