Basketball Game Preview: Lake Forest Scouts vs. Fenwick Friars

The Lake Forest Scouts and the Fenwick Friars will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lake Forest is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Lake Zurich on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lake Forest had to suffer through a 56-24 loss at the hands of Lake Zurich. The Scouts haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fenwick came up short against Providence Catholic on Friday and fell 49-36.

Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lake Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Lake Forest strolled past Fenwick in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 44-27. Does Lake Forest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fenwick turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
