Basketball Recap: Temple Academy Comes Up Short

If Temple Academy was feeling good fresh off their 62-22 takedown of North Haven last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Temple Academy Bereans took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangeley Lakes Lakers on Tuesday. The Bereans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Temple Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Rangeley Lakes, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Temple Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against North Haven at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Temple Academy is facing North Haven at the right time seeing as North Haven is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Rangeley Lakes, they will venture away from home to take on Wiscasset at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
