Deaundra Vines leads a balanced attack to beat Geneva

Recap: LaFayette Bulldogs vs. Geneva Panthers
On Thursday, LaFayette didn't have too much trouble with Geneva on the road as they won 58-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for LaFayette.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaFayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deaundra Vines, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. Vines continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaderrian Story, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
LaFayette has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaFayette will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Plainview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plainview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully LaFayette likes a good challenge. Geneva will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Wicksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wicksburg will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
