Potlatch waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] with a sharp 19-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 last Tuesday.

Daycee Fry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Elena Vowels was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Reese Lusby, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Potlatch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. They are 12-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
