Volleyball Recap: Philip Simmons Takes a Loss

Philip Simmons lost against Bishop England last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Iron Horses fell 3-1 to the Battling Bishops. The Iron Horses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Philip Simmons was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bishop England work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 16-25, 29-27, 25-19.

Philip Simmons' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bishop England, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Philip Simmons will venture away from home to challenge Fort Dorchester at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop England, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against May River on the 2nd.
