Volleyball Recap: Lyons Comes Up Short

Lyons lost against Minneapolis back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Lyons fell 2-0 to Minneapolis. Lyons has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16.

Minneapolis' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quinley Bohl, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 7-27. As for Minneapolis, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lyons and Minneapolis will both be playing Norton the next time they take the court. Minneapolis will host Norton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Lyons will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
