Basketball Recap: Linville Hill Beats Sewickley Academy for Their Fifth Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and Linville Hill had no trouble coming through when it counted. They pulled ahead with a 55-54 photo finish over Sewickley Academy on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

It was another big night for Stephen Smucker, who went 8-for-10 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. His big performance that afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Tibbins, who posted ten points and six assists.

Linville Hill's win bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Sewickley Academy, they moved to 24-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Linville Hill nor Sewickley Academy have any future games scheduled.
