North Central has gone 6-1 against Elgin/Pope John recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The North Central Knights will face off against the Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack at 6:15 p.m.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elgin/Pope John). They were the clear victor by a 64-38 margin over Creighton on Monday. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

North Central better focus on containing Kate Furstenau and Madelyn Kurpgeweit as the pair were huge in Elgin/Pope John's win. Furstenau posted 19 points, while Kurpgeweit put up 18 points. Furstenau continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Braelyn Martinsen, who had 11 points.

The win (which was Elgin/Pope John's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for North Central, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
