Baseball Recap: Leavitt Hornets vs. Nokomis Warriors

Leavitt stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They never let the Nokomis Warriors onto the board and left with an 11-0 win. The victory was nothing new for Leavitt as they're now sitting on six straight.

Noah Carpenter made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Carpenter has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Carpenter was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Colten Taylor was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with a home run, four runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Will Keach, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Leavitt pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Nokomis, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
