Football Recap: Windber Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Windber and Tussey Mountain pushed the score to 56-16 the last time they played Tussey Mountain, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Ramblers and the Titans were almost perfectly matched up, but the Ramblers suffered a 13-12 defeat. The Ramblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Windber lost, don't look at Nokosi Fowler-Whetstone. Despite the final result, he rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Fowler-Whetstone is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 106 every time he's taken the field this season.

Noah Lucko was nothing short of spectacular for Tussey Mountain: he rushed for 237 yards and one TD while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Having lost for the first time this season, Windber fell to 2-1. As for Tussey Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.
