Maranatha Christian lost against La Jolla Country Day back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the Maranatha Christian Eagles and the La Jolla Country Day Torreys didn't end well, with the Maranatha Christian Eagles falling 63-46. Ownbey has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dash Ekeroth, who scored eight points and five assists.

Maranatha Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for La Jolla Country Day, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.
