Softball Recap: Laramie Has No Trouble Against Rock Springs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laramie). Everything went their way against the Rock Springs TIGERS on Friday as they made off with a 15-2 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Plainsmen with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Laramie's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Rock Springs, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

Rock Springs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-4 victory against South on the 5th. Hopefully Laramie payed attention to the TIGERS' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the TIGERS at 3:30 p.m. on the 25th.
