Flat Rock had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Roosevelt Bears 7-5. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Flat Rock's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Alex Baron, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Flat Rock's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flat Rock will welcome Milan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will host Allen Park at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
