Basketball Game Preview: Jordan-Matthews Jets vs. Northwood Chargers

Jordan-Matthews is 0-10 against Northwood since February of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Jordan-Matthews Jets will face off against the Northwood Chargers at 7:30 p.m.

Jordan-Matthews is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 26th on Tuesday. They came up short against Chatham Central, falling 52-31. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Northwood entered their tilt with Southeast Alamance on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 69-65 W over the Stallions. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Northwood's win came from a few key players Jordan-Matthews will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cam Fowler, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Graves, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Jordan-Matthews took a serious blow against Northwood in their previous meeting back in January, falling 66-37. Can Jordan-Matthews avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
