London took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since August 23, 2024.

London was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. London will welcome Sinton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, they will square off against Canyon Lake at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
