They took a blow against North Tonawanda, falling 87-42. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-20.

Kenmore West's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for Niagara Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
