Basketball Game Preview: York Cougars vs. Dreher Blue Devils

York is on an 11-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Dreher a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The York Cougars will host the Dreher Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m.

York saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a blow against Collins Hill, falling 81-43.

Despite their defeat, York saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. James Love, who posted six points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Alex Mcilwain, who earned 11 points.

Meanwhile, Dreher came into Saturday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 51-41 win over Palisades last Saturday.

Dreher's win came from a few key players York will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Austin Glasscho, who had 14 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamere Singleton, who put up 13 points.

The victory got Dreher back to even at 5-5. As for York, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
