Basketball Recap: Bear River Bears vs. Mountain Crest Mustangs
Bear River and Mountain Crest squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bear River had to settle for second. They took a hard 53-34 fall against the Mountain Crest Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Bear River lost, don't look at Brooklyn Capener. Despite the final result, she posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.
