Volleyball Game Preview: Monticello Buckaroo vs. Tintic Miners

The Monticello Buckaroo will square off against the Tintic Miners at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Monticello heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rich. The Buckaroo haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Tintic suffered their biggest loss since September 25th on Friday. They came up short against St. Joseph, falling 3-0.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Tintic, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

Everything went Monticello's way against Tintic when the teams last played back in October of 2021, as Monticello made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Buckaroo repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
