Frontier Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Stumpff Made His Presence Known in Spring Hill's 49-7 Win

Starting off the list is Spring Hill's Patrick Stumpff, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stumpff rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.

Spring Hill's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Stumpff's next matchup is against Louisburg on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Tanner Hand Delivers Best Effort of Season

Tanner Hand produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tonganoxie to the win on Friday. Hand rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103).

Hand and Tonganoxie will be playing at home against Ottawa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chieftains got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cyclones, probably because Hand had a solid game then too: he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
