Recap: Meadville Eagles vs. Northwestern Eagles
The Meadville Eagles lost to the Northwestern Eagles back in January, but the Meadville Eagles didn't allow the Northwestern Eagles the same satisfaction on Saturday. Meadville simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northwestern 67-38 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-10.
Meadville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Thompson, who scored 16 points along with 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Dennis, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Meadville back to even at 2-2. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadville will take on Atlanta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwestern, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Breckenridge at 6:00 p.m.
