It was a good run, but Atlantic Coast unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Ponte Vedra Sharks by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Stingrays have suffered since May 2, 2024.

Atlantic Coast saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stella Lynton, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Atlantic Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Ponte Vedra, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Atlantic Coast will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Kenny at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Stingrays surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ponte Vedra, they will host Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
