Basketball Recap: North Polk Takes a Loss

North Polk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 59-46 to the Carroll Tigers. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 69-58.

North Polk's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Carroll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Polk will challenge Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Polk is facing Boone at the right time seeing as Boone is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Carroll will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Gilbert will have lost three straight heading into Friday's contest.
