Basketball Recap: Churubusco Comes Up Short

Churubusco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Fremont Eagles, falling 53-15. The match marked Churubusco's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Jessica Price and Brooklyn Sinclair, who each put up five points. Lilly Rinker held things down on the boards with 12 rebounds.

Churubusco's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Fremont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Churubusco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-25 victory against West Noble on the 16th. As for Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 41-38 defeat against Fairfield on the 15th.
