Basketball Game Preview: Knappa Loggers vs. Nestucca Bobcats

Knappa is 9-1 against Nestucca since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knappa Loggers will venture away from home to face off against the Nestucca Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Knappa will be strutting in after a win while Nestucca will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Wednesday, Knappa strolled past Columbia Christian with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. That's two games straight that the Loggers have won by exactly 19 points.

Nestucca might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-69 to Vernonia, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Knappa's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-5. As for Nestucca, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12.

Everything went Knappa's way against Nestucca in their previous matchup back in January, as Knappa made off with a 55-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Knappa since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
