Baseball Recap: Winfield Falls Short Against Ranked Point Pleasant

Winfield faced Point Pleasant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Generals came up short against the Big Blacks, falling 19-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Generals have suffered since April 23rd.

This is the second loss in a row for Winfield and nudges their season record down to 21-8. As for Point Pleasant, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

As of now, neither Winfield nor the Big Blacks have any future games scheduled.
