Baseball Recap: Chugiak Wins Going Away Against Ketchikan

Chugiak barely beat Ketchikan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Kings on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blake Yawit was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Tyler Cage was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

The win got Chugiak back to even at 1-1. As for Ketchikan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Chugiak will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Kings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
