Baseball Recap: Jamestown Comes Up Short

Jamestown fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Frontier on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Red & Green just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Frontier, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Coming up, Jamestown will host Southwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Red & Green surely won't give up without a fight. As for Frontier, they are taking a road trip to challenge Canisius at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
