Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Creek Wolves vs. White House-Heritage Patriots

The Liberty Creek Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the White House-Heritage Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Creek will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Liberty Creek earned a 59-47 victory over East Robertson. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Indians are ranked 363rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, White House-Heritage's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Jo Byrns by a score of 45-43.

White House-Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Liberty Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Liberty Creek came up short against White House-Heritage when the teams last played on January 9th, falling 45-33. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of White House-Heritage's Avery Coles, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 21 points and eight boards.
