Urbana had won two straight games and Peyton Mounce did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Urbana Hillclimbers came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-45 W against the Harvest Prep Warriors thanks in part to Mounce, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and 14 rebounds. The match was her 18th in a row with at least 17 points.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mo'Nae Gamble, who posted eight points along with eight boards and three steals. Gamble is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Israelle Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Urbana's record is now 18-4. As for Harvest Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Urbana and Harvest Prep should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Urbana will square off against Thurgood Marshall at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday up 625 places (143 vs. 768). Meanwhile, Harvest Prep (ranked 204th) will meet Grandview Heights (ranked 594th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
