Football Recap: West Comes Up Short

West blew Halls out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Halls got their revenge. The Rebels fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 20-17.

Halls got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amari Lethgo out in front who threw for 192 yards and two TDs. The Red Devils also relied on Lethgo, who's 48-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game.

West's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Halls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will face off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels' defense better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 27.6 points per game this season. As for Halls, they will take on Karns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will be up against the Beavers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
