Baseball Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Covina last Wednesday, Peninsula came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves on Monday, falling 10-1.

Peninsula saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edrian Chao, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Peninsula has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

While Peninsula had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
