Softball Game Preview: Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise Wolves vs. Animo Robinson Monarchs

The Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise Wolves will head out to challenge the Animo Robinson Monarchs at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Animo Robinson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise, who comes in off a win.

While Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise's victory against Stella High Charter Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves skirted past the Eagles 21-20. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their one-run performance the game before.

Animo Robinson couldn't beat Animo South Los Angeles on April 11th even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Monarchs came up short against the Panthers, falling 22-6.

Animo Robinson has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise took their win against Animo Robinson when the teams last played on April 2nd by a conclusive 20-7 score.
