Bingham is a perfect 10-0 against Riverton since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Miners will head out on the road to challenge the Silverwolves at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bingham has three straight victories, Riverton has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Bingham had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cedar Valley on Tuesday. The Miners put the hurt on the Aviators with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bingham was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Riverton didn't have quite enough to beat Copper Hills on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Riverton sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 15-13.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Bingham, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Bingham was able to grind out a solid win over Riverton in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
