Volleyball Recap: East Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Maize Eagles on Saturday.

Claire Buss paced East's offense, picking up six kills. Buss got some help from Birdie Buell and her 12 assists. Buss was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

East has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season. As for Maize, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 17-20.

As of now, neither East nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
