Soccer Game Preview: Rock Bridge vs. Jefferson City

The Rock Bridge Bruins will face off against the Jefferson City Jays at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jefferson City will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Rock Bridge extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Bruins' defense stepped up to hand Blue Springs a 1-0 shutout. Give Rock Bridge's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Jefferson City was forced to settle for a draw. They and Blair Oaks finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Rock Bridge's win bumped their record up to 5-1. With that draw, Jefferson City's record moves to 5-3-1.

Rock Bridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Jefferson City in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
