Football Recap: Beaver Dam Takes a Loss

Beaver Dam is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Sandy Valley. The Diamondback took a blow against the Sidewinders, falling 34-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Diamondback in their meetings with the Sidewinders: they've now lost five in a row.

Wyett Avila threw for 112 yards on nine of 21 attempts. Player #18 was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Alex Acevedo rushed for 35 yards.

Beaver Dam's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sandy Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

As of now, neither Beaver Dam nor the Sidewinders have any future games scheduled.
