Football Recap: Oak Lawn Piles Up the Points Against Thornridge

The Oak Lawn Spartans were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past the Thornridge Falcons 47-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Oak Lawn's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Thornridge, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Oak Lawn and Thornridge will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Spartans will take on rival Shepard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Thornridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Kankakee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
